Jesolo is once again a protagonist at the Blue Flag award ceremony, the prestigious recognition that rewards seaside resorts maintaining the highest standards of excellence in bathing water quality, beach cleanliness, waste management, the presence of purification plants, and the quality of tourist landings. The award, granted by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), was presented in Rome recently, with Deputy Mayor Luca Zanotto having the honor of representing the Municipality of Jesolo, which for the 22nd consecutive year is in the elite of Italian coastal resorts.
There are 32 evaluation parameters used by the commission that grants the award, including beach care and maintenance, safety and services offered to visitors, the presence of bike paths, pedestrian areas, as well as accessibility to the sea for everyone.
